Tributes have been pouring in for Lucy Doyle who leaves behind five siblings. The pupil was a senior at Presentation Secondary School, Kilkenny, who shared a heartwarming tribute to the teenager.
The school wrote: “It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of our much loved 6th-year student, Lucy Doyle.
“Lucy’s warm smile and charisma will be sorely missed by all in our school community.
“Our heartfelt sympathies are with the Doyle family and Lucy’s friends and teachers at this very difficult time.
“May her gentle soul Rest in Peace
“Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.”
While a parent of another child at the school added: “I’m so sorry that you have had such a devastating loss. Lucy truly was a beautiful girl.
They added: “You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you can find the strength to guide you through. Rest in peace Lucy.”
