A woman in her 30s has died in London because of a falling tree.
A County Wexford man in his 60s was killed while clearing debris.
In Hampshire, a man in his 30s died because of the storm.
And in Merseyside, a man in his 50s was killed when debris struck the windscreen of a vehicle he was travelling in.
By 7pm, most the weather warnings issued by the Met Office for today, on Friday, had expired.

This warning is set to end at 9pm this evening.
Another – this time “yellow” – warning covers much of Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The Met Office said: “A mixture of wintry showers and clear spells are likely to lead to a cold night with some icy stretches developing on untreated surfaces.”
It added that injuries were expected from falls on icy surfaces.
This warning will end tomorrow morning, on Saturday, at 9am.
