Harry Kane has invited two United States-based Tottenham fans to be his guest at a future game after they travelled 31 hours to watch the club only for the match against Burnley to be postponed.
The Premier League clash at Turf Moor was called off a little under an hour before kick-off due to heavy snowfall.
Ken and Brandi Saxton had spoken about their journey from Dallas, Texas on Twitter in a post which picked up attention on social media after news broke that the game had been axed.

Ken and Brandi Saxton accepted Kane’s invite to a future Spurs game after their Burnley woe
In a message on Saturday, Ken Saxton posted a picture of the pair on the train with the caption: ‘Dallas to London to Burnley (almost there) 31 hours – no sleep – fueled by coffee, cheese crackers and more coffee.
‘Frigid temps and snow predicted for match day. The things we do when you love your club.’
The forecast for snow was accurate and attempts to clear the pitch began around 90 minutes before the 2pm kick-off on Sunday.

Those efforts proved to be in vain, however, as the snow was falling down as quickly as it was being cleared off the pitch.
As Saxton’s post picked up traction among Tottenham fans on social media, it was sent to Tottenham striker Kane, who made a classy gesture towards the pair.
The England captain replied to their post: ‘Just been sent this tweet and absolutely gutted for you!
‘For your commitment and to make up for the match being called off I’d like to invite you to a home game as my guest when you’re next in London.’
Kane’s offer unsurprisingly went down well and Brandi Saxton responded on Twitter: ‘Well the husband has officially gone viral and we’ve personally been invited to watch the Spurs by Harry Kane!!’

Ken Saxton also replied to Kane: ‘Cheers Harry and not necessary at all, but we would enjoy taking you up on the offer. Thank you and to all Spurs (and other football fans) who have reached out. Amazing really.’
Turf Moor’s undersoil heating had been on overnight but was unable to cope with the heavy snow.
There were also concerns over the safety of areas around the ground as supporters began to arrive.
The announcement was made shortly after both clubs had named their teams for the match. There has been no information as to when the match might now be played.
